PMs and Developers fighting (not about this)
when you work with IT companies
Clients usually tell me that they want to improve communication between developers and PMs, therefore they need a new soft or improvements in Jira.
Usually if they have Jira, I offer them to run fast from that soft, sorry all Jira fans. I know one guy who invested $100k into Jira development and now he wants to move to another soft.
Oh, I started writing this post yesterday and today a new topic is relevant. Therefore sorry, I will be the most inconsistent writer here and will start another topic without changing the title :)
Once I understood that people buy YOU, not your product, your service. They buy your energy and the feeling of belonging to you or your product.
So basically if you are non-trivial and simply do amazing job for your clients, showing how you do it, sooner or earlier you will have you community. Those who cant wait to read your new article, new substack or receive an invitation from you to your event.
People want to know they work with the company which has an amazing logo, attractive visuals and non-trivial founder. The one who does all the things upside down.
Do you do things upside down?
I know barely 5 people who do things like this, out of my 10000+ network. So start doing non-trivial things and show people how you do this. And do not do mistakes like I did with creating million of new products before having a solid brand.
PEOPLE AT FIRST HAVE TO WANT BE WITH YOU and only after they will want to buy from you.
Read books, watch courses which are not directly related to your sphere. By doing this you can become non-trivial.
